Club Sandwich – A perfect healthy breakfast for busy mornings. Taking breakfast is very important .Without breakfast you are effectively running on empty, like trying to start the car with no petrol!   • Recipe for healthy fast club sandwich:
    3 toasted sliced bread
    Tender Fry slices of chicken or turkey
    Fresh thinly sliced tomatoes
    Fresh lettuce
  • Procedure

  • Add mayonnaise to one slice of toasted bread, to start assembling the sandwich, (start with the base use a table knife to spread thin layer of mayonnaise onto the bottom piece of toast. The mayonnaise helps to keep the sandwich moist.
    Add some sliced of turkey or chicken, tomatoes and lettuce on top of bottom layer, start adding some slices of the poultry, top with a leaf or two cold lettuce and one or two slice of fresh tomatoes.
    Add another slice of bread and mayo on both sides, add another layer of chicken or turkey, tomatoes and lettuce.
  • Top the sandwich with the final piece of toast pressing down slightly to get the sandwich under control.
    Cut the sandwich along both diagonal (i.e. cutting it into four triangle-shaped slices using a sharp knife. Secure each section with a toothpick.

How To Make Nutritious Buns

Buns Recipe


500g (All Purpose Flour).
90g Sugar.
2 Tablespoon Baking Powder.
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg(optional).
2 Eggs.
100g melted butter/margarine.
2Tablespoon powdered milk.
1/2 Teaspoon salt.
1Cup Warm Water for mixing.
Vegetable oil for deep frying.

Procedure (Yield 20 Moderate Size Buns or More depending on your desired size)

1.In a medium size bowl,add the flour,baking powder,salt and nutmeg (mix together).
2.Whisk the eggs and pour into the melted butter or margarine (mix together ).
3.Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour the eggs and butter mixture into the flour mixture(mix till its looks lumpy).
4.Dissolve the sugar and milk in the cup of warm water measured and mix make sure the sugar dissolve completely.Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and gently pour the milk mixture into it while mixing continuously(mix with a Turning Stick)(mix as if you are making Amala LOL),Till you get a Stretchy Sticky Dough,then set aside for 5 minutes.
5.In a frying pan or pot,heat the oil on medium heat (ensure the oil is about 3 inch deep or more).
6.Scoop a Tablespoon full of sticky dough or molded balls into the hot oil and allow to fry till golden brown on both sides for about 4 Minutes .Don’t worry about the dough size on Tablespoon it would expand and bloat once it set into the oil.NOTE (when you drop the dough into the oil ,it should sink to the bottom of the pot or pan.Just wait a few seconds and TILT it a bit with your spoon or kebab stick)
7. Transfer the fried Buns on to the paper towel to remove excess oil.leave to cool and Serve. Enjoy
NOTE (To fry the next batch ,reduce the HEAT to LOW .This is because the oil is going to be too hot after the first batch.
